This is where the Ganges emerges from the Himalayas and where thousands of Pilgrims arrive to bathe in its holy waters. While visited by many tourists every year it isn’t on the main tourist trail and is more authentic than many other places.
Your private driver will organise a visit in the evening to see the Aati (prayer) on the banks of the Ganges. The sight of hundreds lights and marigolds floating down the river is truly magical. This will be a memorable part of your tour of India.
30 kms north of Haridwar you will find Rishikesh … yoga capital of the world. We can arrange yoga classes for you here if you wish. This is where the Beatles found their guru and you are able to visit the ashram where Lennon and McCartney wrote over 30 of their songs.
